Before co-founding Katalysys, he was a project manager for HSBC’s global financial transformation programme. Alvin holds an MBA from Cambridge University’s Judge Business School.

Jessica Cath is Head of Financial Crime at Thistle Initiatives, working with a range of firms to mitigate financial crime risk effectively and efficiently. Jess has broad experience designing controls, implementing systems, overhauling processes, changing embedded cultures, and conducting s166 reviews and remediation both in the UK and abroad. Jess was previously the Head of Financial Crime Project Delivery at FINTRAIL, working predominantly with FinTechs and crypto firms to build, scale and assure all elements of the financial crime framework. Prior to FINTRAIL, Jess managed large scale remediation and transformation exercises at traditional financial institutions at Capco. Jess also has a background in intelligence and investigations from Kroll and a Masters in Intelligence and International Security, as well as a Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention from the International Compliance Association.

Now, 2 years into her role at the Bank of England, Laura has worked to successfully deliver the first public commitment of the Transforming Data collection programme (TDC) , its newly redesigned statistical reporting pages, and conducted the extensive user research underpinning the development of the Bank of England’s public facing Firm Communication Portal (FCP).

He has detailed knowledge of CRD IV and CRR, providing guidance on complex regulatory matters. Samir brings with him an end to end understanding of regulatory reporting and how the data translates into stress testing and modelling submissions.
