Alan began his career in legal publishing producing market-leading content for professionals in legal, tax, and regulatory sectors. Digitisation of traditional content was a key feature of that role and he took that experience with him to the Financial Conduct Authority, the UK’s financial services watchdog, where he overhauled the digital version of the FCA’s Handbook with the aim of producing machine-readable rules. This coincided with the rise of RegTech and Alan joined Apiax in 2019 to deliver on the huge potential of making compliance easy for everyone.

Andrew Delaney is A-Team’s President & Chief Content Officer, based in London and New York. He has been involved in information gathering and dissemination around financial markets IT since 1987. He joined A-Team in 2002 to spearhead the company’s publishing activities and today runs A-Team’s range of content offerings across our online communities and for our clients. Before joining A-Team, Andrew spent three years building a financial information distribution platform aimed at the off-trading-floor marketplace. Prior to that he spent 11 years at Waters Information Services in a variety of senior roles including editor-in-chief, senior vice president of global sales, and general manager of North American operations. He also spent time with Banking Technology magazine in London and The Wall Street Journal in Brussels.

Angus is responsible for delivering a transformation of the way the Bank collects data from the UK financial sector. Previously, he led the Bank’s engagement in the Digital Regulatory Reporting initiative and played a key role in delivering a new supervisory dataset from the UK’s CCPs. Prior to dedicating his life to data and data collection, he held a number of roles at the Bank and in the private sector, primarily with a focus on risk analysis. Originally an economist by training, his current primary interest, apart from improving data collection, is how to write rules and regulations in a “digital first” manner

He specialises in banking and financial markets law and regulation, clearing, settlement, derivatives, asset management and insurance regulation. Barney advises banks, FinTechs, asset managers, insurers, financial infrastructure providers, governments and public bodies on regulatory, governance, enforcement and securities law matters, as well as on acquisitions, disputes, bank resolution and insolvency matters. Collin Marshall holds the Chief Financial Officer function (SMF 2) for a China CITIC Bank London Branch. He has worked in the banking industry in London for the past 25 years, developing integrated finance functions to enable the business deliver timely, accurate and effective management information. He is passionate about driving finance out and into the business as a value adding function. He holds an MBA from Warwick and is a qualified accountant. He is married with a springer spaniel and passionate about cricket and hiking.

Enrico is a Director in Deloitte’s Risk Advisory Practice with over 16 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry.
He specialises in providing regulatory risk advice to investment banks, with a particular focus on the implementation and enhancement of capital regulatory reporting processes. Before joining Deloitte he led the Market Risk Management and Reporting team for the IB division of a major Italian bank. His main areas of expertise are market & counterparty credit risk and data management.

Graham Corr a Senior Financial Services Industry Consultant at Teradata. Graham joined Teradata in 2020 from NatWest where he held various roles across Regulatory Reporting, Finance and Treasury. Prior to this, Graham worked at Morgan Stanley, HSBC and KPMG. At Teradata, Graham works with leading European financial services institutions to help them extract more business value from their data. He focuses on the value of detailed and complex data; especially in the areas of Regulation, the proliferation of "Big Data", the challenges around Data Science, and the business change required to deliver sustainable growth.

Kalyani’s background fuses asset management and data analysis. Her experience also includes deep data research and writing investment proposals. She has certifications from UNPRI, the Climate Disclosure Standards Board via the TCFD Knowledge Hub and the Associate Chartered Securities Investments (ACSI) for wealth and investment management. During her MBA studies at Imperial College, London, Kalyani focused on ESG and sustainability investing, paying particular attention to clean technology and renewable energy issues for her thesis. Kalyani recently co-authored the chapter “The Impact of AI on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Investing: Implications for The Investment Value Chain” in The AI Book: The Artificial Intelligence Handbook for Investors, Entrepreneurs and FinTech Visionaries (Wiley, 2020). She is currently advising fund managers, investors and corporates on ESG and sustainability related projects and is developing a product on ESG disclosures and regulatory frameworks.

Lauren is Senior Manager for Data Collection at the FCA, responsible for overseeing new firm collections and accountable for delivering Transforming Data Collections, a joint programme with industry and the Bank of England. Lauren has 18 years of experience in regulatory transformation, public policy and enforcement. Lauren started her career working on corporate transactions at the Pensions Regulator, before moving into firm supervision at the FCA and delivering policy change on payment protection insurance. Since 2018 she has been in the FCA’s Data and Analytics function where she has taken a lead role in updating and implementing the FCA’s new data strategy across the organisation.

For the last 4 years, Mark has been a partner with element22 and leads the team in Europe. element22 is a boutique consultancy who help clients to modernise and expand their data and analytics capabilities. Unsurprisingly, one of the key areas of support for clients recently is managing ESG data collection, standardisation and reporting challenges, and this also led element22 to develop a software solution to help simplify ESG disclosure and reporting - this solution is called ESGi.
Prior to this role Mark spent 6 years as CEO of Avox, a managed data service company acquired by Thomson Reuters, and 15 years managing data functions for three tier 1 banks.

Mark has over 20 years of experience in delivering technical change, the last 10 years of which have been spent in RegTech. Mark first started out in RegTech leading the ‘Harmonised Reporting’ project for the FCA and BoE, delivering the technical changes required for Basel III/CRD IV and XBRL regulatory reporting. Following the successful delivery of this project, Mark joined BearingPoint (now Regnology) where he built and led the UK RegTech practice including winning awards at the FCA’s ‘Unlocking Regulatory Reporting’ TechSprint, sowing the seeds for Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR). Mark is currently an independent consultant and a Principal at Model Drivers where he continues to explore Semantic technology and Digital Twins, most recently using this approach to solve the decade long problem of creating valid XBRL test data.

Navin (Nav) is a Senior Leader & Practitioner with 20 years of corporate, financial services, and Big 4 consulting experience, where he has held leadership positions driving institutions regulatory and transformational strategy. Internally, Nav currently heads the Sustainability Practice for the EMEA region where he connects C-suite stakeholders across TATA companies, and TCS’ respective clients in multi-sector industries. As a Practitioner, Nav utilises domain expertise that focuses on regulation governing ESG, Climate Risk, Carbon Markets, Sustainable Financing and Net Zero, with an emphasis on using technology to drive the Sustainability strategy across business. Nivedh Iyer has varied experience in Financial Services with a career spanning over circa 19+ years’ experience in Financial Services across multiple countries with a majority of this in Assurance, Advisory and Consulting. Nivedh currently heads up Data Management and RegTech Capability at Grant Thornton UK LLP.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Nivedh headed up the Regulatory Insight & Strategic Response team for Barclays Bank UK Plc. He was a key member of the senior leadership team of the Strategic Regulatory Change function with circa 250+ FTEs across UK and India. Nivedh was instrumental in designing and leading the Data Management function (Data Quality, Meta-data, Data Governance) for Barclays UK.

Hanbury has twenty years professional experience working in financial risk management, and of this fifteen are specifically in regulatory risk.
